    For R & D testing and 200Gbps and above optical module testing, Keysight DCA-X series sampling oscilloscope and its supporting modules are used to provide comprehensive, accurate and efficient test solutions. The solution includes Keysight AWG and M8000 series error meter, which supports the test from 250Mb/s to 224Gb/s PAM4, covering multiple test items such as optical and electrical, to ensure the test reliability and stability of various optical modules in various performance indicators.

  • 1. Wide coverage: Keysight N1032A/B module is used to provide up to 120GHz optical bandwidth, suitable for 1250nm~1625nm wavelength range, 112GBd (224Gbps) optical signal analysis. Using precision time base (PTB), the intrinsic jitter is reduced to 100fs

    2. Modular design: The DCA-X platform consists of a host and various modules, with optional plug-in modules to form a custom test system to perform precision optical, electrical and/or TDR/TDT/S parameter analysis. Support for older modules and the latest DCA-M series modules, and ensure accuracy and flexibility of measurement via USB connection. The target parameters of the 100GBASE LR4/ER4/SR4, 200GBASE DR4/FR4/LR4, and 400GBASE FR8/LR8 specifications are preset.

    3. Optical pressure eye test: Automatically control all instruments in the test system to achieve optical pressure eye calibration and test process, providing efficient and accurate testing for optical module consistency test.

    4. Reliable and stable: Keysight instrument has high reliability and stability, and can maintain accurate measurement results during long-term testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of long-term environmental test data.

    5. Graphical test software: FlexDCA software provides powerful analysis functions, simplifies the test process, and improves the test efficiency.


    Test items: Eye map, TDECQ, OOMA, OER, Power, bit error rate and other IEEE international communication standard tests.
