Keysight Technologies' N777-C series tunable laser sources offer the full wavelength range from 1240 nm to 1650 nm with no wavelength gap. The N777-C series delivers the cost-effectiveness and performance required to test coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM), dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM, LR4) and passive optical network (PON) components. Whether it's validating the design of demanding optical components, adjusting more wavelength-selector switches per hour, or requiring a stable, adjustable light source, the N777-C series offers the right model.
All N777-C models are based on a common resonator and laser module design with narrow linewidth, excellent long-term stability and low spontaneous emission levels. They are compatible with the 8160xA and 81600B laser software, but take up less rack space. The instrument's remote user interface can be accessed using a web browser via a LAN or USB connection. An optional touch screen display provides local operation access and display of current operation parameters. Compared to the top-of-the-line N7776C, the N7778C and N7779C offer additional price-performance options based on output power, tuning speed, wavelength accuracy and repeatability.
